经过一个多小时的车程，我们来到了张家界森林公园的大门口。刚下车，就有七、八个卖旅游路线地图的人一哄而上，围住了我们，好不容易才脱身。可等办好寄存手续，找好住宿的地方，就已经是上午九点多了，得赶快出发!

"哎!走了!"我这才回过神来，三步并作两步，小跑上前。原来他们是要乘缆车上黄石寨的顶峰。因为导游说乘缆车上山挺快。可排队等缆车就用了将近一个小时，最后乘缆车却只用了几分钟。这么一算还不如走路上山呢!可是，又一想还是觉得挺值，因为在距地面千余米的缆车上朝下看，有一种前所未有的惊险和刺激。可正所谓"无限风光在险峰"，说得还真对：站在缆车上向下望，看到的是一片又一片的树木。一阵风吹来，所有的树木都随之舞动，简直就是一片林海在泛起层层浪花，美不胜收。林间，许多小鸟停在树枝丫上，各自，或成群的卖弄着清脆的喉咙，又好像是在欢迎我们的到来。瞧，那边山崖上的迎客松也在摇摆着身躯，好像在跳着支有节奏的迎宾圆舞曲。遥望前方，是一片茫茫雾海，群山被笼罩在这雾海之中，只有几座颤险的高峰穿过雾海，直插云霄!几秒钟，我们乘坐的缆车驶到了十里画廊。我怎么也不相信这有十里的画廊在这高空上好像只有十几厘米长几毫米宽。看着看着，缆车已经停了下来，我们到站了。

大家请看右边对面的山上，有一个约20米高的圆形石柱，上面有一块长约3米、宽l.5米的石匣，在石匣上有一个石盖，这石盖一半儿凌空，一半儿盖于匣上，周围环绕着五棵翠绿的松柏。传说张良曾将黄石公的三卷天书藏于匣内，后因战事平息，张良又取出天书放置在其他地方，但是他却忘记合上抽盖，至今留下一只半掩半开的石匣。由于这石匣内曾藏过天书，因而被人誉称为“天书宝匣”。
大家请看前方，两山相挤，中间仅有一通道，其形如门，大有“一夫当关，万夫莫开”的气势，这里就是“南天门”。

顺着我手指的放向便是“定海神针”。它高大挺拔，巍然屹立，似乎在用强硬的身躯支撑着整座大山。“定海神针”与“金鞭岩”遥遥相对，形成了一幅十分壮观的“天然壮景”。那前面这座孤立的柱峰又是什么景点呢?它拔地而起，直插云霄，高达300余米，这就是张家界有名的“南天一柱”了，因为它立在南天门下面而得名。“南天一柱”是整个“武陵源”风景的特写，它拔地而起，上大下小。在它身上有一种历经万年沧桑却仍然坚忍不拔的精神，是整个“武陵源”石英砂岩峰林地貌景观的缩影，也是“张家界国际森林保护节”的节徽和标志。
说起石英砂岩峰林地貌，大家可能会奇怪，大自然为何会如此神奇?根据科学的论证，3亿多年以前，这里曾经是一片汪洋大海，大约1亿年前左右，由于海浪的冲击，石英砂岩在海底沉积了500多米厚。后来经新构造运动强烈抬升，这里成了陆地，地面抬升以后，在流水的深切作用下，一些细小的砂石被冲走，加上在重力的作用下，岩石崩塌，又被雨水，溪流慢慢的冲刷等综合作用，使得五凌援地区在漫长的岁月中逐渐形成这中奇特的石英砂岩峰林地貌。

黄石寨海拔1200多米，面积250余亩。四周全是刀切绝壁，是俯视砂岩峰林景观的最佳最大观景台，也是观日出的最佳选地。如果天气晴朗，我们还可以看见百里外的天门山洞。
(摘星台)现在，让我们上摘星台摘星星去，摘云雾去，摘诗情画意去!请大家注意安全，当心一失足而成千古恨啊。说起摘星台，还是建公园初期，时任国务委员兼国家经委主任的张劲夫同志，那天清晨，天边残留着几颗星星，便迫不及待爬上这座石台，面对足下千百座石峰，信中吟诗道：“千峰竞秀，万木葱笼，琳琅满目，美不胜数。虽非天上，不似人间，借以喻此，不为过也。”这摘星台也就是他叫出来的。
(六奇阁)请各位猜猜，这“六奇”是指哪“六奇”?大多数讲对了，准确地说是指山奇、水奇、云奇、石奇、动物奇、植物奇。“江山留胜迹，我辈复登临”;“欲穷千里目，更上一层楼”。站在这里，可以看到袁家界、杨家界、天子山、朝天观、三姐妹峰......
(天池)这个水池叫“天池”，别看它不起眼，故事却不少。
很久以前，张良仿效赤松子，云游天下名山大川，后来不知怎么来到天门山、青崖山，青崖山就是现在的张家界，还上了黄石寨。当时吕后专权，对张良的失踪十分害怕，于是下令在全国大搜捕，生要见人，死要见尸。武陵郡太守闻讯后派三千精兵追踪上山，把黄石寨围得纹丝不透。张良手下只有十来个弟子，就凭借天险坚守。官兵攻不上，干脆就不攻围，打算围上三五月，让他们活活饿死。山上的粮食吃光了，大家一个个饿得东倒西歪。
张良十分焦虑，那天，他朦朦打盹，只见一白胡子老人从天上悠然飘落在张良跟前，张良一见是黄石公，急忙跪下诉道：“徒儿有难，还望师父搭救!”黄石公微微一笑，拂尘一扫，便慢慢隐入云间。这时，只听有人边跑边叫：“师父!师父!我们有救了，有救了!”张良惊醒了，问：“什么事，咋咋呼呼的?”那小徒弟气喘吁吁地说：“师父，在天池发现了三条大鲤鱼，每条一百来斤，够我们吃十来天!”张良一惊，沉思片刻，立即下令道：“不许吃!赶快把鲤鱼摔下山去!”众徒儿一时想不通，这师父饿昏了头是不?但命令难违，只好把送到口边上的美味一一丢下石壁。接着张良又吩咐一边击打竹筒、刀剑、石块，让它发出声音，一边大唱大跳，唱什么?张良说：“就唱：黄石寨，黄石寨，千年万年打不开!”
第二天，官兵撤了。原来他们发现山顶上居然还有百来斤的大鱼，还唱歌跳舞作乐，说明上面粮草丰足，张良安民乐业，围着有啥用?
后来，张良告诉众徒弟：这是师父黄石公搭救我们来了。
从此以后，“黄石寨”的名字就代代传下来了。
(山顶环览线：五指峰、前花园、黑枞垴)朋友们!这里的每一座岩峰都是一件古老的艺术品，每一座岩峰都隐藏着大自然的无穷奥秘。面对如此壮美雄奇、气象万千的砂岩峰林风光，几年前，一位来自东北的女作家，就站在黄石寨上感叹道：看了张家界的风光，觉得真可以死了。接下来她又说，看了张家界的风光，觉得更有理由好好活了。两句话看起来前后矛盾，其实不然：前一句是说能见一到像张家界这样奇美的风光，此生足矣;后一句是说人生是如此美好，理应更加珍爱生命。大家说对不对?
那年，诗人丁芒面对鬼斧神功的前花园，心里激出诗情，信口吟道：
“人生不到张家界，百岁何能叫老翁。”
(黑枞垴)请大家朝对面看，那是一片原始森林，四面是悬崖绝壁，绝对高度300余米，峰顶方圆约60余亩，植物以古松为主，土家人叫它黑枞垴，那是千百万年无人涉足的地方。20世纪70年代，林场一位老工人一行三人凭着挂钩、绳索、古铜钱等古老的登山工具，冒着生命危险，折腾了整整一天，天黑的时候，终于爬上峰顶。他们见到了几抱粗的古树，厚达一米以上的腐殖层，和晾在树枝间的蟒蛇的蜕皮。三人心想好不容易上来了好歹要进去探个究竟。不料突然风雨大作，骇得三人急忙滑下绝壁。不久，三个人不甘心，又准备去探险。本来是万里无云的大晴天，可是刚爬到半山石壁，突然雷电交加，风狂雨骤，其中一人脚底一滑，差点坠入万丈深渊，从此以后再也无人敢探黑枞垴，直到今天那儿还是一处神秘禁地。
(天桥遗墩、飞云洞)前方一排六座高达200余米的山峰，就像桥塌后留下的桥墩。再往左前方看，峰下有个狭长形石洞，叫飞云洞，1984年9月7日上午8点半，就在眼前这一片被石峰围出的空间，出现一个直径约200公尺的彩色光环，当时五位目击者狂呼雀跃的身影清晰地倒映在光环中心，边四周奇峰怪石也在光环中时隐时现。二十多分钟后，光环渐渐消逝。这种奇观，俗名佛光。1996年5月15日，天子山神堂湾也出现过佛光奇观。科学解释是一种光学现象。
(武陵松)张家界武陵源由于发现很迟，原始旷古的植被地貌才得以完好保存。这里是一座巨大的生物宝库，被誉为自然博物馆和天然植物园。植物学家认定张家界处于亚热带常绿阔叶林的中心位置，保留了长江流域古生代植物群落的原始风貌。这里森林覆盖率达85%，仅木本植物达751种。这里保存了大量世界珍稀植物，如被称为“活化石”的珙桐、银杏，以及诸如伯乐树、香果树、白豆杉、红榧等。而面积最大、造型最奇的数武陵松。大家看，张家界每一座石峰上，几乎都长满了盘根错节的松树。“苍劲虬曲挂绝壁，松枝摇曳三千峰”。大诗人胡茄对武陵奇峰作了最为形象的评价：“桂林醉人是漓江清，峨嵋风流是金顶云，华山险在倚天看，庐山美在泉中听，不及湘西武陵源，数千奇峰缠绿云，石上长森林!”这石头上的森林就是武陵松!方志专家陈自文先生有武陵松诗：“武陵源里数千峰，绝顶青松各一丛。咬石嗟牙根自由，承天抖擞腰难躬。”如果要说武陵松的特点，这就是最好的人格化的注脚。
(雾海金龟)你们看，大自然的鬼斧神工，把这只石龟雕塑得活灵活现，在众多景区中，如此神似形也似的景观并不多见。大家还记得向王天子天书被盗，作案者就是这只龟精，可笑的是还没逃离黄石寨，就被张良仙师点化成石，让它世世代代为后卡门当门卫。
(后卡门)那是后卡门，有一夫当关，万夫莫开之势。过去是登黄石寨的唯一通道。1995年3月，就是从这里上下黄石寨的。上山途中，江在“天子座”景点休息时，兴致勃勃地拉起二胡，为当地的土家族女歌手伴奏;登上寨顶后，又情不自禁地唱起京剧《智取威虎山》中的“打虎上山”唱段，与游客们同乐。
(索道站)现在，我们就要乘索道下山了。黄石寨索道是1995年5月至1997年9月中国台湾证吉兴业有限公司与张家界公园管理处合资兴建的我市第一条观光索道。索道线路水平距863，高差431米，运行速度每秒8米，单向小时运量948人，设备全部从法国波马公司引进，总投资4000多万人民币。黄石寨索道的建成，为公园开辟了一条空中游览线，填补了张家界无观光索道的空白。古诗说：会当凌绝顶，一览众山小。乘索道观张家界公园，别是一番感受。
(望郎峰)朋友们，尽管由于修建了索道，琵琶溪一路景点无缘欣赏，但望朗峰这一绝景是不能不看的。请大家仰首上望，那山岭上兀立一根石柱，极像一位曲线流畅的“村姑”翘首远望。“村姑”对面，万丈绝壁上洞穿圆眼，正处“村姑”视线之中，故叫“望郎峰，望穿石壁”。相传山里一位土家猎手，被秦始皇抓去筑万里长城，从此一支不归，妻子日日夜夜站在高山顶上向北望，盼着夫君回来。这样过了一年又一年，连对面的石壁都望穿了，可夫君始终没有回来。那村姑呢，也就慢慢化成一座石峰。民谣唱道：农家的大嫂子，山寨的好姊妹，站在高山望郎归。望到冬去春来，望到北雁南飞，望穿秋水，望穿石壁，不知郎君几时回......

下面就请大家跟随我一齐沿着这条“杉林幽径”来欣赏两旁让人目不瑕接的风景吧。这是一排排陡峭而又曲折的山路。自古登黄石寨只有后山一条路，这天我们走的这条路，是十多年以前人工开凿的。
大家请注意听，前面传来了阵阵歌声。这是悦耳动听的土家山歌，前面便是土家姑娘的点歌台。一个个衣着秀丽的土家姑娘正在载歌载舞地欢迎着各位来宾，她们优美的歌声是否会唤起您对土家民风的无限向往呢?她们的热情好客、淳朴善良是否带给您一种从未有过的简单和快乐?此时此刻，您是否感悟到张家界“山美、水美、人更美”的真谛呢?
大家请看右边对面的山上，有一个约20米高的圆形石柱，上面有一块长约3米、宽l.5米的石匣，在石匣上有一个石盖，这石盖一半儿凌空，一半儿盖于匣上，周围环绕着五棵翠绿的松柏。传说张良曾将黄石公的三卷天书藏于匣内，后因战事平息，张良又取出天书放置在其他地方，但是他却忘记合上抽盖，至今留下一只半掩半开的石匣。由于这石匣内曾藏过天书，因而被人誉称为“天书宝匣”。
大家请看前方，两山相挤，中间仅有一通道，其形如门，大有“一夫当关，万夫莫开”的气势，那里就是“南天门”。
再请大家看这边。
顺着我手指的放向便是“定海神针”。它高大挺拔，巍然屹立，似乎在用强硬的身躯支撑着整座大山。“定海神针”与“金鞭岩”遥遥相对，构成了一幅十分壮观的“天然壮景”。那前面这座孤立的柱峰又是什么景点呢?它拔地而起，直插云霄，高达300余米，这就是张家界有名的“南天一柱”了，因为它立在南天门下面而得名。“南天一柱”是整个“武陵源”风景的特写，它拔地而起，上大下小。在它身上有一种历经万年沧桑却仍然坚忍不拔的精神，是整个“武陵源”石英砂岩峰林地貌景观的缩影，也是“张家界国际森林保护节”的节徽和标志。
说起石英砂岩峰林地貌，大家可能会奇怪，大自然为何会如此神奇?根据科学的论证，3亿多年以前，那里以前是一片汪洋大海，大约1亿年前左右，由于海浪的冲击，石英砂岩在海底沉积了500多米厚。之后经新构造运动强烈抬升，那里成了陆地，地面抬升以后，在流水的深切作用下，一些细小的砂石被冲走，加上在重力的作用下，岩石崩塌，又被雨水，溪流慢慢的冲刷等综合作用，使得五凌援地区在漫长的岁月中逐渐构成这中奇特的石英砂岩峰林地貌。
好了，此刻我要告诉大家我门已经顺利的登上黄石寨的寨顶了，我带大家来摘星台来看看。站在台上，使人油然产生“一览众山小”的感慨。个性是到了晚上，有一种与星星近在咫尺的感觉，似乎一伸手，就能将天空上的星星给“摘下来”。
眼前的这个人工景点就是“六奇阁”。“六奇”准确地说是指山奇、水奇、云奇、石奇、动物奇、植物奇。好了，我们的游览也要结束了。欢迎大家再次光临黄石寨。
